This page is to demonstrate some of the Engagement Hub 38 feedback and collaborative tools available to our clients. Many tools are creatively applied by our clients to reflect the consultation subject matter, audience, how information is to be presented and of course the best methods of feedback for their projects.

In addition to consultation pages, clients may also have top level menu informative pages which are displayed across their site to promote broad information such as an organisation's community engagement strategy or framework..

There is the ability to use as few or as many of the informative and engagement tools (this example has all tools enabled) as you wish during the lifecycle of the consultative process.

Rename and hide widget tool titles and of course move them around

Use the WYSIWYG editor to provide a detailed overview of the proposal and optionally include links to documentation. There are numerous icons to choose from to place on your image and the number of icons is unlimited.

This amazing tool launched in April 2022 is perfect for master plans and concept plans. This tool can be utilised for informative and/or feedback purposes. Additionally, comments published can be closed (hidden) and category markers reference also hidden.

However, like all the Engagement Hub tools can be reinvented!

This example shows you how you can import an image of a map and add markers to inform or consult with your community. This can be used instead of the mapping tool.

What can I use the Latest News Widget for?

The Latest News Widget is perfect for keeping your stakeholders and community informed with project updates, media releases, opportunities and consultation outcomes. Include links and add attachments or images to maximise your impact.

Follow this Project Function

Did you know we now have a 'Follow this Project' feature. This function allows users to follow a project and receive notifications when new items are added to a project! This a great way to ensure your stakeholders don't miss anything and remain engaged and informed.

Customise Widgets

On a project-by-project basis you can determine the title and position of each Widget on the front-end of your portal so you can completely customise the language and labelling to your audience.

Section Banner Tool

Use a section banner to highlight what's most important on your project.

The Idea Wall is a creative tool for your stakeholders to pitch ideas and share their stories with community members voting up/down. You also have the option to allow them only to vote on an idea and hide vote down option.

Fact Box Tool

The Fact Box tool is designed for short statements with the option to include an icon and also set colour schemes for each box. Via the Project Settings' tool determine how many todisplay in a row and how many rows to load progressively.

Display examples of feedback you've already received on your project or popular questions

Design your fact boxes to suit your branding, with or without a border or using a background colour.

Image Slider is an excellent tool for presenting two related images for example before and after images. Optionally add text and on the second slide a hyperlinked button.

Use the WYSIWYG editor to add a link

To add a link to your website using the WYSIWYG toolbox:

1. type the word for the link, or type in the URL if you prefer to show that;

2. highlight;
3. click on the link icon , and complete the pop up box.

4. You have the option to make this link an email; a URL or an anchor in the text.

Maximise your use of the WYSIWYG tool

Add a video using the WYSIWYG tool:

1. Add any introductory content (you will need to have some text to be able to add the video.

2. Click Source

3. Add embed link from either Youtube or Vimeo

4. Click source again and press Save or Update Item

In some cases you may choose to not use the title and just go straight into content.

Related Projects Tool

The Related Project Tool is designed to display sub or related projects option to include rich content, hyperlinked buttons and/all display-related projects as a grid (similar to the home page grid layout). Situated within the main body of your project page this is designed in an accordion structure with categories and items.The accordion layout provides ease of navigation with categories displayed in two ways, either fully open to show more detail or be closed if you seek a neater visual.

Though designed to promote sub/child projects of the master/parent project, the tool can be used for structuring any informative content.
