The popular interactive media tool has broad uses, enabling clients to pin additional content on images. It can be utilised as an informative tool and/or feedback tool, even within the same project.

For example, add labels to a concept plan, name people in a photograph or highlight important information on a report or design.

See how City of Parramatta used Engagement Hub’s Interactive Media Tool as part of consultation for the Epping Aquatic Centre project.

A key strength of the tool is its flexibility. It can be used as:

  • An informative tool— helping explain plans, designs or strategic documents
  • A feedback tool— allowing communities to respond directly to individual items
  • Or both within the same project

When used for feedback, organisations can choose on an item-by-item basis whether to enable:

  • Open or closed comments
  • Voting up
  • Voting down

The Department of Premier and Cabinet Tasmania used Interactive Media within the Drought Ready Tasmania project to communicate detailed regional drought resilience planning in a highly visual way.
